The tournament will be run monthly and organized in brackets for Round 1.
Each bracket will play a complete internal round-robin with 11 point matches.
The target size will be 8 players per bracket but this may vary depending on entries
Round 1 runs from the 1st to the second
last day of each month. All match results are due on or
before the second last day of the month. Late postings
may be accepted if prior agreement has been reached with the
host. Our target date is to post playoff brackets by the 1st,
but this date is not guaranteed. The playoffs will run concurrently with Round 1 of the next event.
The four highest-ranked players in each bracket
will advance to the playoffs. If there are more than
24 players then there will be 4 brackets and the top 2 players in each bracket will advance to the playoffs.
Bracket assignments for Round 1 will be random. Playoff assignments will be via the standard
arrangement (e.g the top 2 finalists will be placed at the extreme ends of the playoff tree).
