To register you must have a valid Warp Gammon name. New players can sign up here. Registration is then via the signup link for Galaxy on MyPage

You are expected to complete all of your matches. If you do not play all your matches, you may be excluded from future web-based WarpGammon Tournaments.

Unless specifically stated otherwise elsewhere in WarpGammon Tournament's rules, you may enter the tournament using only one player name.  If you enter more than once, you may be disqualified from the WarpGammon Tournament.

Format

The tournament will be single elimination with a progressive consolation.  Each round will be a best 2-of-3 series.  Matches in the main bracket will be 7 points (9 points in the final); matches in the consolation will be 5 points (7 in the final).  The draw and all byes will be random.

Entry Players may enter only once.  Signups will close at 8PM Pacific time on the 31st of the month.  The draw will be posted as soon as practical thereafter.

There are no entry fees or prizes.

General Web-based Tournament Rules All rules pertaining to conduct of web-based tournaments will be as provided in the Warp Gammon Web-based Tournament rules.  Players should pay particular attention to policies regarding scheduling.  As a general guidelines, a player will be required to play at his opponent's convenience if s/he fails to reply to the initial scheduling email by 2 days after the earlier of when the email is sent or the start date for the round.  If four days pass with no reply, a player may apply for a forfeit.  An extension of up to two days will be granted on request if the players have been attempting to schedule.   Players may be denied entry for failure to complete matches in this or any other Warp Gammon web-based event.

In the event of any ruling involving either the host or co-host as a player, the decision will be referred to an impartial person or committee whose objectivity is agreed to by all concerned parties.
