Forfeits

Players who continually refuse to schedule or play their matches make the event frustrating for players who do the right thing. If you have a history of not getting matches played resulting in forfeit losses then you will be probibited from entering the event for a period of time.

How does this work? If you receive a forfeit loss this is logged. If you accumulate 3 forfeits over successive seasons you will be unable to signup for the following season. If you fail to turn up for a confirmed match this will be logged as half a forfeit. A player who needs to withdraw mid-way through the season will not suffer forfeit penalties. If a match is deemed to be a No Result then this similarly does not attract forfeit penalties.

When do these penalties expire? Forfeits decay at a level of 25% per month of the original value. Hence, a forfeit penalty incurred 4 months ago will now have expired.

How will I know when I can sign up again? The signup form will tell you when you will be able to sign up again. 1 points you will need to wait 1 month before you can sign up again.
